Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns for CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Between 2005 and 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 to political communications serving as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign for reelection. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 13. There was speculation that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30, 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was with the Obama administration until its end.
